Has Knowing Your Horoscope Impacted Your Love Life?
Every once in a while I see some questions like
“I’m a and I’m looking for a ”
I personally don’t believe in that stuff but I was wondering how it works for those who live by it. Has selecting only the compatible ones proven to be a good thing or more of a nuisance?
In that case I’m a Taurus, any other “Earthy signs” feel like chatting? I’m also a Snake by chinese horoscopes.

Congratulations! I’m a Taurus too. I know, this is very tricky because as it’s labelled along side psychics and tarots, we tend to think it has some occultish to it. It’s actually a science, as much as studying medicine and counselling is. As a Taurean, religion is all very well as long as it doesn’t get in the way of your personal life. But for me, zodiac isn’t religion or believing. I know it’s real, simply because of enough evidence. I work as a magician, I’m also a secretary. I was going through birthcards and noticed that the majority of the women who came often wore purple or pink. little things like this, and then personality features and natures. my latest magic trick (even though it isn’t a trick) is to tell a person’s starsign. I’ve done over 100 people, and got 5 wrong. I even told a friend their dog was Sagittarius. no books, no magazine, no “believing in zodiac”. It just works. I don’t think it can tell the future, I think it can tell us part of our nature, and how the mood of the future might be. There are so many other things – where we are brought up, who we meet, what we can do. Astrology doesn’t cover all that, nor should it try to. Remember that horoscopes are written to apply to a lot of people. The moon changes through the starsign cycle – the tug of gravity between all planets. Women’s periods are coordinated with the moon’s cycle, most people are arrested during the full moon cycle (especially on the full moon), and the tides rise on a full moon. It would be pretty silly to think that the moon didn’t effect as too (gardners plant by the moon too). We are, I think correctly, 90% water. Given to science and my “party trick”, I don’t need to “believe”, it just is and it works. Try anybody you know – any person who shares the same starsign as another, and the traits that match. that’s how i started.
as a Taurean, you’ll be a romantic at heart. If you’re very neat in your appearance and workspace, you’re probably born closer to April (between 20 Apr – 5 May). If you’re born in the 10-20 May, you’ll probably philosophise considerably. If you want to see what I’ve observed about Taureans, have a glance at my article (lol, it’s long, but this should prove it a bit I hope). You have very good instinct – from how to react in a situation, to simply “knowing” that a book or film is good. You are down to earth, but you realish romantic ideas. You love food, fussing over children, and eating chocolate. Here’s my article….. no magazines, or books. Observation and experience..http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
Zodiac can go only so far, like I said. A lot of the things posted here aren’t really zodiac – there’s so much to take into account, and any astrologer who tries to do that is probably biting off more than they can chew. Personally, after all my experience (and noticing that certain signs DO marry each other), I stick by what I say in that Love conquers all boundaries. Love is everything.
Horoscopes in some cases are useful, but many websites poke fun at it requiring you to put in your phone number to recieve love compatibilites for your star sign. Horoscopes, are meant to be related to stars and future. But personally i think nothing will change my thinking that horoscopes are just plain load of rubbish(NOTE: Horoscope booklets in shops are selling for like $5-handy for the author!). It hasn’t impacted me.
I don’t need the help in my love life personally. I’m happily married. However, all of us share a common trait. We all are earth signs! We rock (no pun intended).Lol. I’m a Virgo. My husband is a Capricorn and you the Taurus. I thought that that was interesting. Anyhow, I believe that horoscopes are just bits on information about one’s self. You can choose to understand it and embrace it or you can ignore it and think that it is a bunch of bull. For me, I embrace it, the choice is yours to make though. I’m a sheep. No connection on the Chinese Astrology though. Hope I answered your question. Good luck!
It’s helped me understand myself better, and how I (a cancer) behave in a relationship. It’s also helped me understand why two of my exes and I DID NOT get along (aries and aquarius… my two “least compatible” matches according to astrology)… when I started hanging out with a new guy, I wondered why I felt so “alive” around him, and he just seemed to “get me” and he STILL gives me butterflies… so, to test the astrology thing, I found out his sign… scorpio. Which is one of my best matches… so… some call it coincidence… but I think there is some truth to it.
haha nah i hope not :-/
u should have no limitations in life!
horoscopes can limit u somewhat in how u interact with others.
i try to avoid finding out their star sign :S altho its probaly usful.
cos each sign has its positives and negatives and no one is perfect for one another
so if ur not 100% compatatible, at least u tried and move on
Yes, favourably. I don’t like to make mistakes, and zodiac has helped me with the maxim
:”prevention is better than cure”
No. it hasn’t.
Horoscopes are completely and utterly useless.
